Armstrong has provided CDD for LDC in support of its minority investment in specialist digital transformation provider Foundation SP.
Headquartered in Reading, FSP is an award-winning provider of Digital Transformation services to large enterprises and public sector organisations. Its portfolio of cloud, productivity, data and artificial intelligence offerings alongside trusted managed services delivery are transforming high-profile clients across a range of sectors.
The investment is set to boost FSP’s bold organic growth strategy, enabling it to expand its client base and suite of digital and software services, as well as providing an opportunity to explore complementary acquisitions.
Armstrong provided full buy-side CDD, including market sizing, investigation of the competitive landscape, analysis of FSP’s KPIs, and development of base, upside and downside business plan scenarios.
The core of our work was over 30 highly detailed conversations with the company’s clients to gather feedback on performance, FSP’s key points of difference, and the growth potential within the existing client base. differentiation. Our usual blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis was employed in order to evaluate the firm’s business plan and provide a number of strategic and operational recommendations to help LDC and the management team achieve their objectives.
Chris Morris, Investment Director at LDC, said “The business is going from strength to strength, and with an impressive growth plan and a highly experienced team, we knew FSP was a firm we wanted to back. We’re excited to help them become a recognised and industry-leading digital transformation brand”
Mike Callow, Head of Technology at Armstrong Transaction Services, said “Foundation SP has highly engaged customers relationships, and delivers demonstrable efficiency improvements leveraging the Microsoft Modern Workplace and Azure stack”
