Tech: Palatine’s investment in Atombit Group

Armstrong conducted commercial due diligence (CDD) to support Palatine’s significant investment in AI, data, and technology specialist Atombit Group (Atombit). 

Atombit is a rapidly growing pan-European Experience Intelligence consultancy, specialising in customer and employee experience (CX / EX), data analytics, and AI solutions. 

The recent investment has enabled Atombit to make three simultaneous acquisitions to accelerate its expansion. These include the UK-based firms J2 Reliance and Profusion, as well as DWise, based in Bulgaria.  Following these acquisitions, the group now includes 150 skilled consultants and data scientists across Europe and India, serving over 100 major international enterprises. 

With Palatine’s backing, Atombit aims to scale its capabilities and expand its geographic footprint through a combination of organic growth, cross-selling within its existing client base, and further strategic M&A to broaden its service offerings. 

Armstrong’s full scope CDD work covered all four acquisitions, including a detailed assessment of the proposed proposition and competitive positioning, in-depth interviews with key clients & partners, as well as a review of each business’ historic performance to assess the achievability of the business plan.
