Consumer: Alcuin’s investment in Hartley Botanic

Armstrong has provided CDD support for Alcuin Capital Partners (‘Alcuin’), as it partners with the management team of Hartley Botanic. Founded in 1938, Hartley Botanic is a leading manufacturer of luxury and bespoke Greenhouses and Glasshouses. The business is headquartered in Greenfield, Lancashire, and has operations in the USA where export sales have grown substantially in recent years. Hartley Botanic’s Greenhouses are the only Aluminium Greenhouses endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society, and Hartley has been commissioned by the likes of the National Trust, Kew Gardens, Oxford Botanic Garden, Hampton Court Palace and the RHS.

Armstrong provided buy-side CDD, including in-depth interviews with customers and market participants in the UK/Europe and the USA, to deliver a detailed analysis of opportunities for growth within the markets that Hartley Botanic operates in.
