Armstrong has provided commercial due diligence for Key Capital Partner’s investment in IT services provider Sparta Global.

The business operates the Sparta Training Academy, providing services to private sector firms and government clients, including Channel 4, Three Mobile, and the Ministry of Justice.

The Sparta Academy model upskills new IT graduates with intensive in-house training, which enables Sparta Global to provide blue-chip clients with homegrown, IT Consultants.

Key Capital’s investment will fund further expansion, including the opening of new training centres in Leeds and Birmingham that will create a further 100 jobs in 2018.

Armstrong provided full CDD, including in-depth interviews with customers and Spartans, generating detailed strategic and operational recommendations for the business.

James Excell from KCP commented ‘Armstrong’s pragmatic approach and thorough analysis supported KCP’s view that Sparta Global is well placed to exploit the opportunities provided by the IT academy model.’

This builds on Armstrong’s long-term IT services and recruitment experience, across multiple sectors including healthcare (Nurse Plus, Hallam Medical), public sector (GatenbySanderson, PRG/Synarbor), IT (FDM, Red Commerce), financial (Search, Huntress), staffing (Aktrion).

The Armstrong team was led by technology practice lead Mike Callow, Adam Botterill and Tom Raymond. For further information, or if you are working in a similar sector, please contact us:
