Tech: Infoshare+’s acquisition of Barbour Logic

Armstrong provided customer due diligence to Omni-backed, Infoshare+ on its acquisition of Barbour Logic, an AI-powered communications software specialist.  

Founded over fifteen years ago, Barbour Logic has built a strong client base of more than 60 organisations, delivering specialised software that automates correspondence related to penalty charge notices for local authorities. Its solutions are powered by a proprietary AI rules engine (“Parking Brain”), which encodes over 1000 policies to generate accurate plain-English responses tailored to each council’s requirements. Built specifically for regulated environments, the technology ensures output remains consistent, auditable and policy compliant.

The deal is the latest in a series of additions to Omni’s public sector-focused software and data platform, Infoshare+, which Armstrong has supported on.
